Project Description
Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics were asked by Parkeray Interiors to tender for the installation of a specialist acoustic ceiling in the rooms at UCL Torrington Place, London. UCL Torrington Place, once complete, will be a state-of-the-art training centre which will feature 11 training rooms, with a capacity of up to 120 people per room. The training rooms will also be equipped with the latest visual and touch screen technology to aid the lecturers when delivering sessions.
The Solution
Pacy and Wheatley Acoustics held numerous discussions with Parkeray Interiors, and it was agreed that 906m2 of Eco Grey Bo-Spray would be supplied and installed at UCL Torrington Place.
Bo-Spray, which is available in a range of colours, is a water based acoustical spray made up of recycled cellulose. Perfect for areas such as, leisure centres, restaurants, offices and areas where large groups of people may gather, as it helps in reducing echo and controlling white noise. Bo-Spray also has a stylish finish, meaning the aesthetics of a room do not need to be sacrificed when trying to achieve the desired noise control, making it perfect for projects such as UCL Torrington Place.
The Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics team look forward to working with Parkeray Interiors and delivering another great project.
