Specialist Acoustic Plaster Central London

Pacy & Wheatley are pleased to announce the completion of a specialist acoustic plaster system for our clients Integra Contracts. This acoustic plaster systems project was for a prestigious office located in Central London between Mayfair and Westminster.

The requirements were for a flagship office that promoted a comfortable and vibrant working environment. Additionally, the company, which we are not allowed to name, required that we provide high-class finishes while also controlling the acoustics without sacrificing the aesthetics. The design brief required a significant number of challenges we needed to rise to, notably the curved spiral staircase that demanded underside treatment of the soffit.

While we have previously provided acoustic solutions for Integra Contracts, we were more than happy to build upon this working relationship. We set to work on the project with the following approaches:

• Maintaining strict adherence to the design brief.
• Working with Integra Contracts on the design of the specialist ceiling.
• Working with the principal contractor ISG to maintain a strict overview of the process.
• Installing Rockfon Mono Acoustic product, guaranteeing class absorption to the areas with a high-class finish.

Due to the nature of the client, the redevelopment of six storeys of this large company was one of our biggest challenges. However, this project was a joy to work on, and the project was completed on time and within the budget.
