What Are
Acoustic Baffles?
Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics are Autex Acoustic Baffles installation specialists, providing solutions for excess echo in businesses and buildings throughout the UK. Since the birth of our acoustics division in 2001, we have amassed an impressive portfolio and acquired a large amount of experience which the company are immensely proud of. Over the last two decades Pacy & Wheatley acoustics have studied and put into practice the science of acoustics. As every project is different, we use that knowledge to recommend the best solution for you and your business.
Sound waves reflect off hard surfaces, such as walls, floors and the ceiling and can cause echo and noise reverberation. The increased echo can strain communication, making speech more difficult to hear and understand unless an acoustic solution is installed. Acoustic Baffles are suspended sound absorption panels positioned to hang freely from ceilings in various styles and patterns. All sides of the baffles are exposed to give an increased surface area, which allows the baffles to absorb both direct and reverberant sound that is bouncing around the room.
Autex Acoustic Baffle Range
With over 20 years of experience, we have become one of the leading UK suppliers of high-quality acoustic solutions. Autex are leaders in Acoustic Baffle development and provides sustainable, durable, and aesthetically pleasing acoustic panels.
The Frontier range is perfect for open-plan workplaces, retail, education and hospitality due to its enhanced fibre technology. They can be mounted flush to the wall or suspended with extension rods in various configurations. The Horizon range comprises five geometric shapes with slick edges and hidden fixtures for a clean and modern look. They can be clipped to walls without adhesive and are UV stabilised to prevent any colour fade. The Lattice baffles are made with 45% recycled content, making the panels fully recyclable at the end of their life.
With a wide range of colours and a mix of different styles to choose from, our Autex Acoustic Baffle installations are suited for a wide range of building types. For more information, complete the short contact form below to speak to one of our acoustic experts.
