Project Description
Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics were invited by Parkeray to tender for the refurbishment of the specialist acoustic ceilings in the Hiscox offices & canteen of levels 9 & 10, at Twentytwo, Bishopsgate, in central London. The 62-storey building, which is the second tallest building in London, contains numerous offices, a viewpoint, gym and restaurant.
The Solution
Pacy and Wheatley Acoustics supplied and installed 170m2 of Rockfon Mono Acoustic across the bar, hotel lobby, and meeting room. This class A sound absorber not only controls reverberation levels and white noise but also creates a pleasant ambience and peaceful environment. Its suitability for a hotel setting ensures that customers can relax and enjoy the comfort of the facilities, instilling confidence in the proposed solution.
Bowiq Acoustic Plaster London
The Project
Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics have recently completed a phased installation to 2 towers in Canary Wharf, London. We have installed 1500m2 of Bowiq Acoustic Plaster on the East and West towers through a phased installation and have just completed phase 2 with great results.
The floors shall be used as office space and required reverberation control to regulate unwanted sound. The client design team needed a system that can be installed onto the steel galvanised corrugated rib deck structure and required special colour, Terracotta blue and a light green for the theme of the spaces.
Hotel Ceiling Installations, Oxford
Project Description
Delmond Construction invited Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics to tender for installing a specialist acoustic ceiling at a brand-new hotel renovation. The former department store is set to become a luxury 4-star hotel located in the centre of Oxford. The Boswells store started trading in 1738 and was the second oldest family-owned department store in the world. The refurbishment will transform the store into a hotel with 101 rooms, a ground-floor restaurant, a bar, and an office space.
