Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics were invited by Parkeray to tender for the installation of a specialist acoustic ceiling in the offices of levels 2 & 3 of 10 Fenchurch Avenue, London. The 15-storey building, located in the heart of London, contains numerous offices, a stylish restaurant, and a roof garden for the occupants of the building to relax in.
Pacy & Wheatley were appointed by Kingsley Napley to install a Rockfon Acoustic plaster system at their London based offices.
Over six years ago, law firm Kingsley Napley considered consolidating its three Clerkenwell offices into a single building. Once the decision was made to move, Kingsley Napley collaborated with design specialists KKS Savills and Overbury fit out and refurbishment, along with BPC interiors as sub-contractor, to create an environment which would help enable the company to flourish and meet its aspirations for recruitment, retention and growth. Fast-forward to 2021 and the firm occupies six floors at Twenty Bonhill, Shoreditch.
Within the large reception areas Acoustical comfort was identified as an issue due to the size and the hard surfaces within the space. They required a system to control the reverberation within the space creating a seamless smooth appearance which incorporates their services and creative lighting design with ease whilst not detracting from the prestigious and exacting project.
Pacy & Wheatley were asked to provide a tender for installing Rockfon Mono Acoustic in the reception area of the Lucent building in London. The building, an office space located in the heart of London, at Piccadilly Circus, is being extended and refurbished. With big plans for the building in the future, Pacy & Wheatley are happy to be on board.
Rockfon Mono Acoustic was chosen due to its Class A sound absorption. The acoustic system reduces reverberation and noise levels, creating a nice, peaceful environment in the reception area. The Pacy & Wheatley acoustic team was tasked to install 220m2 of the system within a tight timescale. To the delight of our client, Wates Drylining, our team of specialist acoustic installers completed the work one a week ahead of the programme.
The Lucent building, which is seven floors high, is right behind the iconic advertising screen at Piccadilly Circus. Planning the logistics of specialist materials and equipment can be challenging when working in very busy areas such as this, and we worked closely with our client to ensure minimal disturbance to the public and surrounding businesses.

Pacy & Wheatley Acoustic provided a tender for a specialist acoustic plaster in Newcastle at One Trinity Gardens, with Ultimate Group managing the refurbishment. The job was at an office building and involved fully renovating the building areas and requiring acoustic control of the lift lobbies from the ground to the sixth floor. Due to the very high ceilings and large spaces, the architect felt the need for acoustic control, so they asked us to tender for the installation of Rockfon Mono Acoustic ceilings.
Pacy & Wheatley recently secured a project to install Rockfon Mono acoustic at 22 Bishopsgate in London. The building, also referred to as Twenytwo, is the second-tallest skyscraper in the city. Pacy & Wheatley have now completed the installation, which was carried out across floors 47,48 and 49.
Pacy & Wheatley were appointed to install a specialist acoustic plaster system for an office space in central London. The large prestigious office was located in between Mayfair and Westminster was under redevelopment over 6 storeys for a large London based company who we are not to name. A flagship office was the requirement in this sought-after area in Central London.
Staff comfort and working environment were a big requirement for the company. Providing high-class finishes and surrounding that controlled acoustics whilst maintaining aesthetics was also very important and within the design brief.
Integra Contracts were involved in dealing with the design and installation of the specialist ceiling package, working with Principal contractor ISG on the prestigious scheme.
Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics were delighted to have been awarded and completed a Specialist Acoustic Plaster Installation in Canary Wharf, London. The government has created a new office facility in Canary Wharf to move around 5700 civil and public servants from Whitehall Offices to East London. This is an initiative to drive savings across the government estate and make savings to the tax payer.
The office space houses a vast number of civil and public servants, so acoustics were a top priority. We installed acoustic solutions to some of the open office and reception areas to ensure unwanted sound and reverberation is controlled, allowing the spaces to be comfortable acoustically.
The integration of linear lighting was required and various details addressed to complete the project and supply the quality required.
Within the 2nd floor of the building, there were numerous meeting rooms in which an issue with reverberation may have been apparent. Our solution to resolve and absorb the unwanted sound was to install Rockfon Mono Acoustic TE to control this.
The project was handed over on time and to budget, and a great working relationship was gained with the client.
Pacy and Wheatley will be responsible for the acoustic ceiling installation for a project at Marble Arch Place. The project involves a large office refurbishment for an established international asset fund management group with offices in Europe, the US and China.
We were invited to tender for the project as the office spaces had a need for acoustic control, and our product will work perfectly to control the reverberations and white noise in the various spaces.
