Project Description
Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics was asked by Southern Maze Ltd. to tender for the installation of a specialist acoustic ceiling in the lift lobbies at 2 Lucan Place, London. The apartment complex, located in the heart of Chelsea, contains 31 apartments and a gymnasium. Inspired by Chelsea's classic Victorian-era mansions, it is due to open in early 2025.
The Solution
After numerous discussions between Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics and Southern Maze Ltd, it was agreed that 100m2 of Rockfon mono acoustic would be installed at 2 Lucan Place.
Rockfon Mono Acoustic was chosen for the apartment complex as it has a stylish look whilst offering class-A sound absorption. The acoustic system helps control white noise and reverberation, which will help keep noise at a minimum for the residents whilst people are waiting to use the building's lifts.
