Residential Acoustic Ceiling Installation, Marlborough
- Client: AT Jones
- Sector: Residential
- Type: Acoustic ceilings to pool and Orangery
- Procurement Method: Tender
- Location: Marlborough Wiltshire
The project is set in a 10,000-acre countryside estate near Ramsbury, Wiltshire. A new project is ongoing, creating a nine-bedroom building with an orangery, pool, garden pavilion, and tennis courts. The mansion will be built utilising exceptional quality and the innovative nature of the house design.
Within the exceptional design, Acoustic control was considered, and Francis Terry Associates contacted Pacy and Wheatley Acoustics to discuss the project and possible inclusion of a seamless solution to the pool and Orangery areas to control the noise levels and echo within the spaces.
The Solution
Pacy has been instructed by AT Jones, working for R W Armstrong Principal contractors, to install 200m2 of Rockfon Mono acoustic into the pool and Orangery areas, dealing with beam interfaces and controlling echo and reverb to ensure the areas can be enjoyed thoroughly and comfort created.
Rockfon Mono Acoustic, the chosen solution, provides class A absorption as well as 100% RH (relative humidity) and is therefore suitable for the swimming pool environment, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable space for the residents. We are eagerly anticipating the successful completion of this fantastic development, which we believe will be a testament to our commitment and dedication to this project.
