The Project
Pacy & Wheatley Acoustic provided a tender for a specialist acoustic plaster in Newcastle at One Trinity Gardens, with Ultimate Group managing the refurbishment. The job was at an office building and involved fully renovating the building areas and requiring acoustic control of the lift lobbies from the ground to the sixth floor. Due to the very high ceilings and large spaces, the architect felt the need for acoustic control, so they asked us to tender for the installation of Rockfon Mono Acoustic ceilings.
The Solution
Pacy & Wheatley were successful in the tender process and employed by Ultimate Group to install 287m2 of Rockfon Mono Acoustic to the lift lobbies in the large atrium of the building. Rockfon Mono Acoustic was the chosen product as it provides a seamless acoustic solution to manage reverberation and provide acoustic comfort without sacrificing the aesthetics of the building fabric.
