Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics is proud to announce the successful completion of an innovative and exciting Mono Acoustic Plaster Project for The Royal College of Music, London, in collaboration with Delmond Construction, the project contractor, and Gilbert-Ash, the lead contractor.

Both the Royal College of Music and The Royal Albert Hall have recently undergone significant redevelopments to create a purpose-built gallery, hands-on discovery area, climate-controlled performance space and a dedicated research area, with large areas of the existing buildings also requiring acoustic treatment during the renovations.

We at Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics were appointed by Delmond Construction to provide the acoustic treatment for The Royal College of Music, including the intricate installation of coffers against ornate coving detail and arches. Working closely with Gilbert-Ash, the main contractor, and Delmond Construction, we were able to ensure synergy between all of the industries involved to supply and install the Rockfon Mono Acoustic ceiling with an elegant render for class A sound absorption.
