What Is

An OWAplan Acoustic Plaster?

An OWAplan Acoustic Plaster Ceiling provides high sound absorption, certified fire protection and a seamless monolithic finish in one integrated system. Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics are an approved installer, delivering this specialist ceiling to exacting standards for architects and contractors across commercial, public and residential projects in the UK and internationally.

If your design requires effective reverberation control without visible grids, tiles or joints, this is the solution, and we are the installers to trust.

This system works best where acoustic comfort and architectural design must work together.

  • Sound absorption reduces echo and improves speech clarity in busy or high-ceiling spaces
  • Built-in fire protection supports regulatory compliance
  • The smooth, uninterrupted ceiling plane integrates into the architecture
  • Supplied as standard in white, with additional colours available to suit interior schemes

It is particularly effective in restaurants, hotel foyers, museums, schools, shopping centres and high-end homes where traditional acoustic ceilings would compromise the design intent.

The appearance and performance of an OWAplan ceiling rely on precise installation. The system incorporates:

  • A concealed S7 suspension system (or an industry equivalent MF system where specified)
  • A white fleece-covered acoustic mineral board
  • A spray-applied acoustic plaster finish

Once installed, our operatives tape, fill and sand the surface repeatedly until perfectly smooth and level. Acoustic plaster is then applied using an airless spray pump to create a fine textured surface that reduces the visibility of imperfections when natural light hits the ceiling. This disciplined process is what delivers the consistent, refined finish architects expect from this system.

Designed for

Architect-Led Environments

Because the finish is seamless and refined, an OWAplan ceiling blends into the room, especially suiting:

  • Hospitality and leisure venues
  • Education and public buildings
  • Retail environments
  • Residential interiors and refurbishments
