Project Description
Wes Future Interiors asked Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics to tender for the installation of a specialist acoustic ceiling at Virgin Media's O2 offices in London, Paddington.
The new state-of-the-art office, which is set to be the company’s new headquarters, will house the current staff working at Virgin Media's O2 offices in Hammersmith and Slough, which will close by the end of 2024. The building is also set to be the first major office space for Virgin Media and 02 since merging in 2021.
The Solution
Pacy and Wheatley Acoustics supplied and installed 160m2 of Rockfon Mono Acoustic in numerous areas of the Virgin Media and 02 office spaces.
Rockfon Mono Acoustic is a class A sound absorber that helps control reverberation levels and white noise while creating a pleasant ambience and peaceful environment. Its suitability for a busy office setting ensures that people working can hear and communicate effectively without shouting over each other. Rockfon Mono Acoustic not only provides great results when controlling noise levels, it also looks great, so the aesthetics of the office do not need to be sacrificed.
Wes Future Interiors provided great support to the Pacy and Wheatley Acoustics team throughout the project. The project ran smoothly from start to finish and was completed within the timescale provided to our client.
The Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics team enjoyed working alongside Wes Future Interiors (our client). We are BW (main contractor) and look forward to working with them again on future projects.
