The Project
The Parcels Building on Oxford Street underwent an exciting new refurbishment featuring a commercial acoustic ceiling installation in London. Part of the Selfridges neighbourhood since 2011, the renovations included a combination of offices and high-profile retail spaces. FORA run the operation and is the leader in cultural co-working spaces, and the upper six floors of the building are being transformed into flexible premium workspaces.
The Architects wanted to include a seamless Acoustic product within rooms across six floors of the building, as these rooms are very spacious, and they designed the workspaces to infuse calm while encouraging productivity.

The Solution
After a lot of deliberation, the Rockfon Mono TE System with Elegant render was chosen because of the seamless finish it provides, creating a modern minimalist finish which is perfect for the design of the building.
The system achieves Class A absorption as well as many other qualities it shares with the environment, like high light reflectance and visual appearance rating of 94.5 white, which on the L value, black is one, and pure white being 100, indoor climate label among many others. We were appointed by Collins Construction to carry out the works across the six floors and worked together extremely well under demanding conditions on site to deliver a first-class solution.
