Project Description
Pacy and Wheatley Acoustics were invited by Titan to provide a specialist acoustic ceiling solution for the prestigious Network Building in the heart of London. The project involved the demolition of the old building in 2022 and the construction of a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility. The development comprises ten floors of luxury office space along with a premium retail facility.
Sustainability and modern design were central to the project's vision, and the acoustic solution needed to meet both performance and aesthetic requirements.
The Solution:
After extensive design discussions, Pacy and Wheatley Acoustics installed 237m² of Rockfon Mono Acoustic panels in the atrium and reception areas.
This specific product was chosen for a variety of reasons. Rockfon provides class A sound absorption, thus effectively reducing reverberation and white noise, creating a calm and focused environment. It has a modern finish that integrates seamlessly with the building's contemporary design, and furthermore, the product selected aligned with the project's focus on sustainable construction.
The installation was completed in close partnership with Titan's on-site team, ensuring seamless progress and minimal disruption. The reception and atrium have been transformed into a calm, visually striking environment that enhances both comfort and functionality. The blend of excellent acoustic performance and contemporary design has fully met the expectations of the client and building users alike.
