Acoustic Plaster for a Religious Building
The Project
Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics have been asked to install an acoustic plaster system within a religious building. South Hampstead Synagogue is located around a growing modern Jewish community in London’s metropolitan, warmth, informality and innovative approach are its reputation. This new build exciting project with large shul areas multi-function areas and communal areas including stairwells all were noted that could cause great acoustic problems within the spaces and a product was required to look a seamless solution and created a great amount of absorption to ensure the areas provided acoustic comfort and reverberation control.
The Solution
Pacy and Wheatley assisted in the design and installation of our Rockfon Mono acoustic system which offers a high absorption class A and was perfect for the project to control the reverberation and ensure the prayer areas and communal where acoustically friendly. Working closely with Wates the project was not the smoothest due to complications and programming issues however overcame this as a team to deliver a first class project for the client.
A great project to be involved with.
