Acoustic Plaster System London
Posted on 2 August 2023
Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics is pleased to announce that we have successfully completed another acoustic ceiling installation. The project saw the team install the advanced Rockfon Mono Acoustic plaster system in Stephenson House, a large building close to Euston Station. The building, a mixture of residential and commercial properties, was undergoing renovations led by principal contractor 8Build. Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics was hired to bring their sound acoustics expertise to the project. In the end, we installed more than 650m2 of Rockfon Mono plaster in the reception, cafe, and numerous lobbies.
Overcoming Challenges
As you might expect from such a large and ambitious project, there were challenges.
The biggest challenge was having to work around light fixtures, 150 hanging rods, and ventilation systems. But challenges are there to be overcome, and the team is pleased to report that we were able to find solutions without experiencing any major project delays.
A Successful Outcome
We like to know that we did a good job, but what really counts is the view of our clients. Happily, they were as thrilled as we were, and we hope that this marks the beginning of a long working relationship.
