Acoustics Installation for World-Leading Brands

Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics were delighted to have been commissioned by international architects Denton Corker Marshall to install an Ambient Acoustic Plaster Solution. The work was carried out
Working with three global, internationally recognised brands was an incredibly exciting opportunity for our team, especially working with such prestigious brands in their fields. Three separate ceiling areas had to be treated. Every area had a unique design and ambient requirement, with each one presenting its own challenges.
The ceiling area in the main dining area was the largest of the three areas, with many timber moulded coffer areas. Our sanding machinery was too large to use in these small
The Chef's Table area required a much more private, intimate acoustic solution, much like the restaurant's Private Dining area. Dinner's Private Dining area seats up to 12 guests in a 16th Century, Tudor-inspired dining space. The table is a replica of the King's Table from Westminster Palace, with the room being tied together with a beautiful central chandelier. Privacy was of the utmost importance in this area, as creating a private, intimate atmosphere for the diners in this area was essential.
The pigmented plaster had to be carefully chosen for each area to match the architect's specific colour palette, delivering a functional and fantastic looking Ambient Acoustic Solution.
The tight programme period presented another challenge for the project. Our team worked out of hours, working around the other trades works behind the programme to achieve the deadline required.
