Bowiq Acoustic Plaster System, London Specialist Plaster

Bowiq acoustic plaster was installed at Canary Wharf in London. Both the client and ourselves were very proud of the end result.

We are proud to say that we have completed an acoustic plaster project at Canary Wharf, in London. Mace carried out a lot of the main work, with the drylining being done by Integra Contracts LTD. The client approached us and asked if we could help to try and add a modern edge to the space. They essentially wanted to have a facility that was state of the art, and acoustic treatment became evident. We sprayed our product directly onto the Rib deck and we did so at a 40mm thickness. This helped to ensure that the client got class A absorption in their space. The building had a very large reception area, and this is responsible for managing the security of the area. The 11 floors also have work being carried out. The quiet spaces required acoustical treatment.

We elected to install the Bowiq acoustic plaster, which is sprayed on. It was applied to the Rib deck in Ral colour 7044. We managed to do this in one, single application and we achieved fantastic results. We pride ourselves on providing a service that goes above and beyond, and that is why we were pleased to be working with the Integra Contracts LTD client, after working with them before on many successful projects. We were able to create an ambience and we treated the areas very quickly, even though many of the areas were awkward. Our talented team quickly overcame any challenges that were presented to them, and the area now has excellent reverberation and absorption.
