Rockfon Acoustic Plaster, London
Posted on 16 November 2021
Pacy and Wheatley were chosen by Kingsley Napley to install Rockfon acoustic plaster at their London offices. Kingsley Napley are an esteemed law firm that, six years ago, made the decision to consolidate their three offices into one building. They collaborated with KKS Savills and Overbury for the fitout and the overall refurbishment and they also worked with BPC interiors, who they subcontracted. The end result needed to be an environment where both the company and the staff would flourish. Now, the company work across six different floors in Shoreditch. All of the hard surfaces presented an issue, as they were creating acoustical discomfort. They wanted to have a space that would help them to control the reverberation, while also ensuring that the space had a seamless appearance with creative lighting.
With a lot of prestigious work already being done, it was imperative to them that this was not detracted from, and that's why they decided to go with acoustic plaster. Rockfon Mono was chosen because it's got a very smooth appearance and it is able to mitigate against any unwanted sound. It's got stunningly clean lines, and it also hides the services above. We are very proud to say that the project was completed on time and that it was done to the budget requirements as well.
The client has since left us with a fantastic review, stating that we did an impressive job and that the installation went very well.
