Pacy and Wheatley Acoustics offer specialist consultation and installation services that address a variety of acoustical challenges throughout the UK. Most recently, Pacy & Wheatley completed the installation of a specialist acoustic plaster system for the Pavilion Company located in the heart of Knightsbridge. The project began with a consultation where we went over all the details pertaining to the high-specification refurbishment.
They are a high-profile members club and fine dining restaurant, with multiple locations around London. Our job was to remove unwanted reverberation to achieve a more comfortable atmosphere. The project was very detail-oriented, as the design for the areas in the basement and first floor needed to achieve acoustic comfort and integrate acoustic absorption to accomplish their ultimate goal.
What We Came Up With
As the appointed contractor, we came up with the solution to install a seamless Class A Rockfon Mono Acoustic system with elegant smooth render to the ceilings. What this did was create the ambience the client desired to ensure the proper sound quality and comfort. The ceilings were then painted to complete the look and achieve a seamless finish.
The end result was a system that properly absorbs sound and white noise for a relaxing and cosy space. The client was more than satisfied with the results and we delivered the project on time and within scope.
