Bespoke Acoustic Ceiling Installation London
Pacy & Wheatley recently secured a project to install Rockfon Mono acoustic at 22 Bishopsgate in London. The building, also referred to as Twenytwo, is the second-tallest skyscraper in the city. Pacy & Wheatley have now completed the installation, which was carried out across floors 47,48 and 49.
Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics have now installed 648m2 of Rockfon Mono acoustic across floors 47, 48 and 49. Rockfon Mono Acoustic provides Class A sound absorption and reduces reverberation, making it the perfect product for a high-quality office environment like William Blair. Working within a restricted timescale, the Pacy & Wheatley team delivered the project on time and to a high standard. This includes working around intricate curved GRG bulkheads.
All projects in central London come with their own challenges when it comes to logistics, including this project; specialist materials along with equipment had to be delivered in advance to a consolidation centre to help minimise the impact of deliveries to other tenants within the building plus neighbouring businesses, careful planning is essential and something that Pacy & Wheatley prides itself on.
Our team of specialist acoustics installers enjoyed working alongside one of our regular clients, BPC Interiors Limited, with whom we have worked for several years. The principal contractor on the project was Overbury, who, along with BPC Interiors Limited, showed an extremely high level of professionalism. We look forward to continuing this valued relationship on future projects.
