Bowiq Acoustic Plaster System London

The Project

Pacy & Wheatley are proud to have completed the installation of a Cellulose Bowiq acoustic plaster system at Canary wharf, London. The main works were being carried out by Main contractors Mace with the Drylining/ceiling contractor being Integra Contracts Ltd.
As part of the ongoing development refurbishment for the Northern Trust Financial services and investments, we were asked to help bring the spaces into a modern, state of the art office facility. Acoustic requirements became evident and our product was sprayed direct to the Rib deck at a 40mm thickness in one visit giving class A absorption to the spaces as required. The building has a large reception area which manages the security of the building and the 11 floors which works are being carried out upon, with various areas requiring the system.
The areas concerned were quiet spaces which required acoustical treatment.

The Solution

Pacy and Wheatley provided a quote to install our Bowiq sprayed acoustic product which offers a class A absorption class with a direct application to the steel Rib deck in a Ral colour 7044. This was achieved in a single application and produced great results.

We pride ourselves on repeat business so were pleased to be working with Integra Contracts Ltd again having worked with them on previous successful projects. We managed to create an ambience to the areas treated in a quick fashion even with services in a lot of areas making the task quite awkward. We overcame this and the spaces now benefit from the system providing excellent absorption and reverberation control.

Overall a great result achieved through teamwork with great Contractors.
