The project stands just on the outskirts of Cambridge city centre. It is undergoing a huge refurbishment from office space into a state-of-the-art science and quality laboratory space based on a 42-acre site. The client, Longfellow Real Estate Partners, is the largest developer and Investor in privately held science buildings.
Working with Wates Drylining under Wates construction. The client required acoustic control in areas of the Lab and communal space to help control the reverberation in these spaces.
The Solution
Bospray by Bowiq was proposed as our direct cellulose spray product solution to cover circa 3500m2 of the open metal trapezoidal decks as well as flat concrete soffits to the areas to ensure sound control of the acoustics are controlled to help with speech and hearing reverberation to encourage staff interaction to reduce stress levels.
