Heritage Acoustic Ceiling Installation, London
Project Description
Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics were invited by Macron Fit Out to tender for the seamless acoustic plaster installation at the new V&A East Museum. The project formed part of a landmark cultural development and required a high-quality acoustic solution befitting its prestigious setting.
The building was developed as a new branch of the renowned Victoria and Albert Museum, located within Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, London. Designed as a major addition to London's cultural landscape, the museum aimed to combine architectural excellence with outstanding visitor experience.
The development formed part of East Bank, a significant culture and education district established in East London. Spanning five floors and covering more than 7,000 square metres, the museum was designed to become a highly sought-after tourist attraction upon completion.
Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics' involvement focused on delivering a seamless acoustic plaster system that met both the aesthetic vision and the acoustic performance requirements of this flagship project.
