Hotel Acoustic Ceiling Installation London

The Project

Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics were invited by Titan Interior Solutions to tender for installing a specialist acoustic ceiling at a new state-of-the-art Grand Hyatt hotel development in Vauxhall, London. The hotel, which consists of a 58-storey tower and a 42-storey tower, are the tallest residential towers in Europe. Across the hotel, there will be numerous restaurants, a ballroom, a luxury spa, and many other facilities for guests to enjoy.

The Solution

Pacy & Wheatley were successful at the tender stage and instructed to install 2123m2 of Rockfon Mono Acoustic in numerous areas of the hotel. Our special acoustic installers worked in numerous restaurants, bars, lobby areas, ballrooms, breakout areas, and meeting rooms. 

Rockfon Mono Acoustic was chosen for the project due to its class-A sound absorption. The acoustic system reduces reverberation and noise level creating a peaceful ambience for the guests enjoying the facilities. Rockfon Mono Acoustic not only makes a room sound great, is has a stylish finish making it perfect for such a prestigious hotel.

The project, as all do, came with its challenges. Throughout the project our specialist acoustic installers have had to work within challenging timescales due to delays out of their control. With great leadership, teamwork, and a few late nights the team always produced a high-end finish in the timescale we provided to the client.
