Sloane Curtis Interiors asked Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics to tender for the installation of a specialist acoustic ceiling at Chimes shopping centre. The shopping centre, located in West London, is home to 71 different businesses, many of which are shops and restaurants. However, the centre also boasts a large cinema complex. Across the year, Chimes shopping centre also hosts various workshops for the local community to participate in.
The Solution
After numerous discussions between Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics and Sloane Curtis Interiors, it was agreed that Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics would install 542m2 of Fade Duo Acoustic Plaster with a black pigment to a brand-new Hollywood Bowl set to be built in the shopping centre.
Fade Duo provides a high level of acoustic control and absorbs unwanted white noise, making it ideal for a busy shopping centre with large crowds. It also looks great, meaning the building will not need to sacrifice any aesthetics to achieve the required level of acoustic control specified by the client.
