Project Description
Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics were appointed by PIB Contractors to deliver the supply and installation of a specialist acoustic ceiling system as part of the prestigious Olympia redevelopment in Fulham, London.
Led by main contractor Laing O'Rourke, the transformation of the historic Olympia exhibition centre will introduce a luxury, leisure hotel, theatre, and educational facilities, creating a world-class destination within one of London's most iconic venues.
The Solution:
Following discussions with PIB Contractors, Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics successfully delivered the supply and installation of over 1500m² of Rockfon Mono Acoustic as part of the prestigious Olympia Hotel development.
Rockfon Mono Acoustic was selected for its outstanding acoustic performance and premium seamless finish. As a Class A sound absorber, the system effectively controls reverberation and reduces background noise, helping to create a calm and comfortable environment throughout the hotel. Guests can enjoy the facilities in a space that combines exceptional acoustic comfort with the high-end aesthetic expected of a luxury hospitality setting. Despite the challenges encountered throughout the project, the installation was completed to an excellent standard through the dedication, expertise and commitment of the Pacy and Wheatley Acoustics team. The finished result delivers both the acoustic performance and visual quality required for this landmark development.
We are extremely proud of the finished project and would like to thank everyone involved for their hard work and dedication. It has been a pleasure working alongside PIB throughout the process, and we have thoroughly enjoyed the collaboration. We look forward to building on this successful partnership and working together on future projects.
