The Project
Fairfield Halls has reopened following a 2.5-year multi-million-pound refurbishment which has restored the iconic Croydon building to its former glory. Pacy and Wheatley Acoustics were asked to install a Mono acoustic plaster system throughout the facility.
The gallery used previously for BBC television orchestral recordings and radio transmission aswell as big names like the Beatles, Pink Floyd and Queen to name a few Quality acoustic and reverberation control is vital for coherent performances absorbing unwanted noise ensuring customers enjoy each performance to its maximum, creating the perfect ambience for the shows and the pre show environment within bars and sun lounge relaxation area.

The Solution
Appointed by LE Partitions working with Vinci Construction UK and MICA Architects Pacy and Wheatley Acoustics supplied and installed by our highly trained acoustic installers a specialist acoustic sprayed system to areas with in the new facility.
We installed the Rockfon Mono acoustic with elegant render product which creates class A absorption and is fully recyclable and 87% light reflection amongst other great qualities to the rear of the auditorium aswell as the new fantastic sun lounge adjacent the entrance with its large front facing windows and chandeliers which creates a great meeting area and ensures a busy location the product installed at height level to control sound and reverberation in the leisure spaces to relax.
