Project Description

Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics were invited by BPC Interiors to tender for the installation of a specialist acoustic ceiling within the brand new, state-of-the-art building at 2 Finsbury Avenue. This development is the largest project within the Broadgate campus, offering landmark office space across the 21-storey west tower and the 36-storey east tower. The two towers will be connected by a visually striking 12-storey podium, which will provide access to an impressive garden space as well as a variety of publicly accessible areas.

Situated adjacent to Liverpool Street Station, the 750,000 sq ft scheme is the most significant undertaking on the Broadgate campus to date. As with all Broadgate developments, sustainability is a priority. The 2 Finsbury Avenue project aims to be a net-zero building and is targeting a BREEAM 'Outstanding' certification.

The Solution

After detailed discussions with BPC Interiors, Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics were appointed to supply and install 3,546 m² of Bo-Spray throughout 2 Finsbury Avenue, the installation will span 13 floors, covering both office areas and communal spaces.

Bo-Spray is a water-based acoustic spray made from recycled cellulose and available in a wide range of colours. This project will feature the anthracite finish. Engineered to reduce echo and background noise, it provides an ideal acoustic solution for offices, restaurants, and studios, where comfort and sound control are essential. Its seamless, refined appearance ensures excellent aesthetics without compromising performance.

In addition, Bo-Spray's eco-friendly formulation supports the project's sustainability goals. With a negative carbon footprint, it is manufactured from recycled paper and prevents waste from being incinerated, thereby reducing CO₂ emissions. The product also holds several certifications, including LEED v4, BREEAM, and WELL credits, and meets the EN13501-1 standard for fire-retardant performance.

Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics are pleased to be continuing their partnership with BPC Interiors and look forward to delivering another high-quality project.
