Project Description
Titan Interiors invited Pacy and Wheatley to tender for the installation of a specialist acoustic ceiling at Westfield Village Offices, located within Westfield London Shopping Centre in Shepherd's Bush, London.
The project involves the major conversion of the former House of Fraser department store into a new, high-quality office development. The scheme will provide approximately 115,000 sq ft of luxury office space across three levels, forming part of the wider transformation of the former retail unit into a modern mixed-use workplace environment. Building works are well underway, with the project now approaching completion. Our involvement focuses on the specialist acoustic ceiling installation, providing an important element of the internal fit-out and contributing to the acoustic performance and overall quality of the new office environment.
The Solution
Following detailed discussions and design meetings, it has been agreed that Pacy and Wheatley Acoustics will install 214 m² of Rockfon Mono Acoustic in the ground floor reception and lift lobby area.
Rockfon Mono Acoustic was selected for this project for a variety of reasons. Offering Class A absorption, it will effectively control sound reverberation within the busy office environment, helping to create a calm and comfortable working space. Beyond its acoustic performance, the product was also chosen for its modern and elegant appearance, ensuring the building's aesthetic is maintained without compromise. Rockfon Mono Acoustic is also manufactured with sustainability in mind, incorporating recycled materials and offering long-lasting performance to support a more environmentally responsible building.
Work is now well underway on site and progressing smoothly, thanks to the collaboration between Pacy and Wheatley Acoustics and the Titan Interiors team. It's great to see everything coming together, and we're excited to see the finished result take shape!
