The Project
Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics were invited by Parkeray to tender for the installation of a specialist acoustic ceiling in the offices of levels 2 & 3 of 10 Fenchurch Avenue, London. The 15-storey building, located in the heart of London, contains numerous offices, a stylish restaurant, and a roof garden for the occupants of the building to relax in.
The Solution
After numerous discussions between Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics and Parkeray, it was decided that 350m2 of Rockfon mono acoustic would be installed into the office spaces and a communal area known as the centre of gravity.
Rockfon Mono Acoustic was chosen for the project due to its class A sound absorption and stylish look. The acoustic system helps reduces reverberation and noise level creating a peaceful ambience for the people working in the office spaces, without sacrificing the aesthetics of the ceiling.
All projects in central London come with their challenges when it comes to logistics including this project; specialist materials along with equipment had to be delivered in precision timeslots to minimise the impact of deliveries to other tenants who occupy the building. Careful planning is essential and something that Pacy & Wheatley prides itself on.
The team at Pacy & Wheatley acoustics enjoyed working alongside Parkeray and look forward to continuing this valued relationship that we have built up over many years of working together.
