Pacy & Wheatley were invited by V Construction, acting on behalf of a private residential client, to tender for the installation of a specialist acoustic ceiling within a prestigious private residence in St James's, London. Situated adjacent to St James's Park and within walking distance of The Ritz, the property is in one of London's most exclusive and sought-after residential areas.
The project demanded the highest standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail, reflecting the exceptional quality and prestige of the residence.
The Solution:
Following discussions with the client, Pacy & Wheatley proposed a full replacement of the existing water-damaged ceiling system, and it was agreed that an OWA Plan acoustic ceiling system, installed at a 25mm depth, would provide the ideal solution. The selected system delivers excellent sound absorption, ensuring the high level of acoustic performance required within the property while maintaining a clean, contemporary appearance.
In addition to its acoustic benefits, the new ceiling featured a finer textured finish than the original installation, providing a more refined and modern appearance. This subtle enhancement significantly improved the overall look of the space and was particularly well received by the client, who was delighted with both the visual finish and the performance of the completed installation.
