Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics were invited by Integra to tender for the installation of a specialist acoustic ceiling at Millennium, 50 Berkeley Street, an iconic redevelopment situated adjacent to Berkeley Square in the heart of Mayfair.
This prestigious project is transforming the existing building into more than 170,000 sq ft of Grade A office accommodation, combining contemporary workplace design with the sensitive restoration of a landmark property. In addition to the state-of-the-art office space, the development will feature over 8,000 sq ft of rooftop terraces, providing occupants with exceptional outdoor spaces and panoramic views across London.
Sustainability is central to the scheme, which is targeting BREEAM Outstanding, LEED Gold, and WELL Platinum certifications. 50 Berkeley Street is a standout development that successfully blends heritage, innovation, and sustainability to create one of Mayfair's premier office destinations.
The Solution
Following detailed coordination with Integra Contracts, Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics has been appointed to supply and install approximately 1,000m² of white Bowiq Bo-Spray at Millennium. The installation is being carried out across communal areas and office spaces over seven levels, with a combination of 10mm and 40mm applications to the existing soffits.
Bowiq Bo-Spray was selected for its outstanding acoustic performance, clean aesthetic, and strong sustainability credentials. This water-based acoustic finish is manufactured from recycled cellulose and has a negative carbon footprint. Produced using recycled paper, it diverts waste from incineration and helps reduce overall CO₂ emissions. In addition to its environmental benefits, Bo-Spray contributes toward major sustainability certifications, including LEED v4, BREEAM, and WELL.
