Specialist Acoustic Plaster System, East Sussex
The Project
Pacy & Wheatley are proud to have completed a specialist acoustic plaster system for Rye, Winchelsea & District Hospital in East Sussex.
They commissioned a new community hub and day care centre on the site of a former ambulance station. Set in landscaped gardens with views across open countryside, the contemporary building provides therapy, social activity and respite. It has been designed to the highest eco standards with its BREEAM excellent rating.
The interior design combines a large communal atrium and café, dining facilities, activity areas, therapy rooms which required acoustic reverberation control to ensure comfort to overlook the beautiful Gardens and scenery
The Solution
Pacy and Wheatley were appointed by Jenner Contractors to install our Rockfon Mono acoustic system which offers a Class A absorption. The product was perfect for the project to reduce reverberation and noise levels in order to create a peaceful environment for users of the building.
We were proud to install the Rockfon Mono Acoustic Plaster to the highest standard within this now acoustically friendly building.
The project was completed on time and to budget for the client as stated within the testimonial below.
